The Wire: Vitek Ignition
Wires for Racing Applications are a 400 ohm per foot resistance
wires. The race wire starts with a Kevlar center core and
is coated with a layer of super conductive ferrite then precision
spiral wound with nickel-copper alloy then recoated with ferrite.
The wire then goes through 2 separate extrusions of a high
temperature pure gold silicone to provide the maximum amount
of EMI and RFI suppression while delivering the proper dielectric
properties. The unique property of our Reactive Core plug wire
is that the higher the heat and energy, the better the suppression
capabilities become. This offers maximum protection to the
on-board computers and recorders on today's racecar as well
as protecting their critical radio communications. It has been
tested with high-energy systems on NASCAR, Marine racing, SCCA,
and drag racers. |
